General Shortcuts
You know what shortcuts are now, so let's start with some general ones that you should be able to use anywhere. These are mostly to do something in the current panel, and a few to manage your panels.

| Ctrl + 🖱️ | Select multiple | Hold "ctrl" and click items to select multiple |
| Shift + 🖱️ | Select from/to | With something selected, hold shift and click an item to select everything between the two |
| Shift + F10 | Right click | Open the right click menu for the selected item |
| Home | Jump to start | Jump to the beginning of a line (in text) |
| Ctrl + Home | Jump to beginning | Jump to the beginning of your file (in text) |

| Ctrl + A | Select all | Select everything in your active panel |
| Ctrl + C (or Ctrl + Insert) | Copy | Copy any selected text, image or even file |
| Ctrl + V (or Shift + Insert) | Paste | Paste what you copied to the selected area |
| Ctrl + X | Cut | This both removes and copies the selected item |
| Ctrl + Z | Undo | Get rid of your last change |
| Ctrl + Y (or Ctrl + Shift + Z) | Redo | Redo anything you just undid |
| Ctrl + S | Save | Save the file you are working on |
| Ctrl + Shift + S | Save as | Save the file you are working on with a new name |
| Ctrl + F (or F3) | Search | Open a search field to search in the active panel |
| Ctrl + R (or F5) | Reload | Reload the active panel |
| Ctrl + Shift + Escape | Task manager | Open the task manager |
| Ctrl + Alt + Delete | Open simple Windows actions | This opens a full-screen view with four actions: Lock, Switch user, Log out and task manager |
| Alt + Shift | Switch keyboard layout | Switch the keyboard layout when multiple keyboard layouts are available |
| Middle mouse click | Open app | Middle mouse click on an app in your taskbar to open a new instance of it |
| Alt + F4 | Close panel | Close the active panel, also works with Windows itself |
| Alt + Tab(⭾) | Switch between panels | Hold alt and press tab again or arrow keys to cycle through all open panels |
| Alt + Space, M | Move panel | With a panel selected (wether via Alt + Tab or through taskbar) press the combination Alt + Space, then press M. Now click and move your mouse to move panel, useful for lost panels. (doesn't work with everything) |
| Ctrl + Alt + Tab(⭾) | Show all open panels | This is the same is Alt + Tab, but you don't have to hold alt |
| Ctrl + Alt + Enter | Run as admin | Run the selected app in start menu as admin |
| Middle mouse click | Close app | While alt-tabbed (holding alt or having used Ctrl) middle click on one of the open panels to close it |
| PrtScn | Screenshot | Take a screenshot of your whole screen and copy it to the clipboard |
| F1 | Help | This generally opens some kind op pop-up or website with more info |
| F2 | Rename | Rename the selected item, mostly for files and folders |
| F6 | Cycle | Cycle through areas in your panel (This is slightly different than the tab cycle) |
| F11 | Full-screen | Toggle full-screen for the current panel |
| Esc | Escape | Stop or leave the current task |
